Privacy Policy Statement
For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the consumer's domain name, but not the e-mail address (where possible).
We collect aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit and information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.
The information we collect is used for internal review and used to improve the content of our Web page. We provide aggregate statistical information for visitor counts to organizations upon request, but do not provide detailed information containing domain names or e-mail addresses.
If you supply us with your postal address on-line you will only receive the information for which you provided us your address.
Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed on-line. Please provide us with your correct phone number.
Persons who sign up for i-depth accounts agree to receive emails from On-the-net or partner web services. For those who cancel their i-Depth account, they may send an email to abuse@i-depth.com and request they receive no further emailings.
Other Legal Stuff
On-the-Net supports the "Right to Free Speech". We provide a means for webmasters to create their own communities. All content on i-Depth served functions are the views and property of the owner, not On-the-Net.
On-the-Net operates i-Depth as an internet service provider. As an ISP, On-the-Net exercises no editorial review of content and has no legal liability for such content. Court findings have placed ISPs under the definition of 'printer' or 'common carrier' similar to the phone company.
As such, On-the-Net can not be held liable or responsible for any content customers place in i-Depth Functions. We do not get involved in judging the morality, properness, or validity of any content unless proven ILLEGAL under U.S. Law.
On that basis, On-the-Net will take no action to remove any content unless provided with a hard copy of a legally binding court finding. For requests to remove improper use of copyrighted material, a copy of a notarized proof of copyright may be accepted. No customer information will be released except to proper law enforcement authorities with proper court authorization.
Acceptable Use Policies
On-the-Net is a private company operating a private service and does reserve the right to terminate any account for any reason we deem appropriate, at any time, without notice. This allows us to properly support legitimate customers and terminate abusers of our services.
On-the-Net and i-Depth do not support SPAM or any UCE (unsolicited commercial email) and does not allow accounts to either send or support such.
On-the-Net reserves the right to terminate any account for excessive use of On-the-Net servers.
Accounts that have invalid
account information, specifically intentional entry of unknown email accounts
or web sites, will be grounds for immediate termination. Reasonable effort
will be made to contact accounts whose information has become invalid due
to normal internet changes.
