I must agree with Mary, the reason I think your ocicat is so hyperacive is that he is lonely and that he needs company by an other cat. Geting a friend to my cat is the best thing I have ever done. It is much easier taking care of two cats than one I must say even if it might sound strange.
Good luck with your cat, and take good care of him, he needs to express him self and understanding.
