my ocicat is spoiled -- GOING CRAZY

He is an only cat and when I arrive home and he hears the key in the door, he cries for me; and in the morning when I wake up he cries for me. He jumps up onto the bed and rubs against me; he follows me around. If I watch TV, he sits on top of the TV. In some ways he is obsessed.

But sometimes he bites me. Hard. Especially when I am on the phone or at the computer, not paying attention to him. Even sometimes, when purring and rubbing against me, he will bite.

What can I do? I lock him away for an hour, I say NO firmly, I hit his thigh... nothing stops him!
