If your boy is nice now, he should stay fairly close to that, at his age. I like to see a little more muzzle on a male kitten, as that will fill in and broaden more than a female. Spotting wise, vertical ususually WILL NOT break; but, the hortizontal "swirls" near the spineline and hauches very well may break, if they aren't already. The biggest enemy in changing kittens is change of color and clarity of pattern. It can go either way and drive you nuts, at times. Depending on his age now, you may be out of the woods already.
