Just to let you know that some cat treats are very high in minerals such as phosphorous, magnesium, and calcium. These three minerals are the principal cause of FUS (urinary crystals). You should be very careful when giving a mineral enhanced treat to your babies as a well intentioned treat can turn into a medical nightmare. One treat in particular which is very high in these minerals is CAT LOVE by Hagen. I will not use it and actively recommend against it to all new adoptive parents of my kittens. If your cat loves this treat and you are still want to use it, please consult with your veterinarian for a recommended amount to give your pet based on its weight, age and diet.
