Visit all the cat shows in your area that you can. Look at the Ocicats being shown. Talk to their breeders. Get to know a 'good' show Ocicat from a 'pet' quality one. Get to know the breeders - find someone that you feel good about and you feel you can trust. Don't be in a big hurry for a kitten - look for one that fits your household personality wise.
