Last year an odd "tabby" showed up at my house, entered and had kittens shortly afterward. At first she was a grey tick collor but as she as aged she has gained in brown, rusty areas (especially around the flank). She is beautifully marked with large ears. Many who see her ask if she's a wild breed. One of the kittens I kept is more of silver color. He started out with many stripes which are now developing into more of a spotted pattern. The strangest thing about these cats are they are also polydactyl. The mother has five toes on all four paws (very sleek and tightly formed) and the son has the normal hide feet and six toes on each front paws that look like boxing gloves. They pick up things as a human uses their hands and they love water. They have many other unusual characteristics and the pictures I've seen here are the closest to the pattern of their coats. Also, the male's coat is unusually soft and velvety with an even more unusual "shine" to it (as though it glows). They are group oriented and hunt in a group. They share their food and spend an enormous amount of time lounging high in the trees. Any ideas?
