Hi Susan,
Don't fret too much, Peanut will come out as soon as she is hungry and realizes that she is in good company. It's normal for them to want to hide, they are so uncertain about the new transition and will hide to deal with the stress. Thankfully, your crew is accepting, but it will take alittle time for Peanut to realize this for herself.
Do keep a food and water dish nearby so that she knows it's there, and in no time at all, she will venture out to explore her surroundings. Don't be surprised if there's a bit of hissing and growling amoung the other kids, this will be normal as they check each other out, etc. The main thing is allowing Peanut a safe haven in which to retreat as she learns to adjust to her new surroundings and her new family.
Just be patient, coo at her, offer her food and water, and let her know you're there, she will venture out when she's ready, I promise......
Congratulations, and welcome to Stray Cats R Us, LOL!..........................Traci
