My hubby said he could build one if I got some ideas. The ceelings are very, very high. I would like one that goes all the way to the ceeling with shelves so they can lay on them and look ouside the window. Looking out the window and being high up is really important to them. I would also like hollow little places inside where they could curl up. I was thinking some kind of carpet and maybe some rope curled around it somewhere to scratch on. I do plan on getting some Soft Paws to protect the new wooden floors and furniture. But I suppose they will still want to go through the act of scratching, no? Can they still do their cat stretches and scratching with these things? What kind of materials do I need and does anybody have any specs that I could modify? I hope they don't get too freaked out this Sat. when I move them. We will also have painters and people during the week. I need to have the whole place painted after we move in, cat proof (the strong black metal ones, custom made)screens installed for the windows and a new ceramic floor in the kitchen. This is going to freak them out for sure but nothing I can do about it. I am having the wooden floors all sanded and polished this week before we move in because this is too loud and dusty to be done with all of us there. Thanks. Sara and her 6 cats.
