I think too many people out there still have way too much trust.
ebay is a breeding ground for scams.
paid a little more at places like Cameraworld, but you won't regret it when you encounter problems.
save a few bucks on ebay and you are just asking for trouble.
Just my two cents.
: I just bought a new Sony TRV20 on ebay for $1205.00. New, double boxed, sealed, with a warranty. However, I first was a target of a rip-off...I purchased a TRV20 from someone on ebay with few user feedbacks and, before I completed the transaction, I was given a warning by other buyers from the same seller that there were possible problems with the seller. Turned out
that the seller was a fraud. Always go with sellers that have many positive feedbacks and use your credit card. With multiple positive seller feedbacks, I felt comfortable purchasing on ebay. I got a replacement battery for the TRV20, a 32mb memory stick, and a memory stick to floppy disk adapter, all new, for $149.00 on ebay. Be careful and patient, and you can get good deals.
