I'm a reporter at the Seattle Times, doing a story about people who have selected lifestyle alternatives to marriage:
*Heterosexual couples, for example, who are living together and have no immediate plans to marry.
*Or perhaps a heterosexual couple who doesn't want to live together but are committed as life mates.
*Single people - men or women - who have chosen to have a child/children without a spouse.
*Any other arrangement that you might be able to come up with that I can't right now.
