Yes I know, very short notice. But I find myself in need of a partner or two. I've been planning this winter assault on Longs (front range, colorado) for the better part of 6 months now, and it seems to be ready to fall through because my climbing partner cannot get the time off work. This isn't realy slowing me down. I'm still going, there are just more things I need to concern myself with now. I've got expereince with the mountain, and the keyhole route shouldn't pose too much difficulty. But its always nice to have an accomplice.
So the plan is this: Saturday, sunrise departuure from Longs Peak Trail Head off route 7. Reach the boulderfeild around 10am-12pm, depending on how soft the snow is. Overnight in the boulderfeild, and begin the charge for the summit just before sunrise, sunday. Summit before noon, or turn back by then. Return to camp, tear it down and descend.

Longs is a fairly basic climb, but I am reserving the right to be picky about anyone wanting to go up, as I'm sure you all would understand. Dont think me a prick. :)
Either way I'm looking foward to finding some fellow climbers. Its not a very popular activity amung my fellow Ohioans.
