I got a fine for not having a "Cascade Volcano Pass" on my car while hiking on Mt. Adams. I was under the belief that it was required only above the "round the mountain" trail so didn't bother to get one. It was for $30 and said if I didn't pay it that I'd get a warrant for my arrest and a $250 fine. I guess it is required to park in the lot since no one ever knew where I was on the mountain. They just left it on the car without an knowledge of where I was. I will not pay it. I'll make any authorities that try to arrest me wish they'd never been born.

Next time you see a Forest Service ranger spit on him/her for me. Or worse.
