: I recently went to my doctor to find that I have high cholestoral. My doctor has perscribed vessel care, ( a comprehensive homocysteine formula) and Lipitor. I am reluctant to take these two products because I've heard that they can lead to kidney damage. How can I lower my cholestoral naturally? By the way, I work out three to four times a week, and I'm African-American. Are there any foods that are good for lowering bad cholestorol?

Hello Matt,

You have options that can help you without medications! look up the McDougall Program by Dr. John McDougall on a search engine such as www.google.com and you will find all the answers to your questions. I lowered my Cholesterol from 230 to 152 within 3 Months time without any medications and I also reduced my blood pressure from 180/105 with a pulse rate of 85 to 120/71 with a pulse of 58 within the same time. I am 53 years old and feel like I am 20 years old. Dr. McDougall will give you some facts that will contradict what many doctors may tell you about how to control many different diseases, but I have tested his advise, and it worked! I am not representing Dr. McDougall, and have never met him, but I am responding to the many inquiries about Cholesterol and other illnesses, because his advice works! You can also find many books written by him at any major book store.

Good Luck with your health!!

Rick
