you might look into a Paddy Wagon tour out of Belfast, www.paddywagontours.com, to the Antrim Coast. The trips are a blast and geared towards the younger, adventure traveler.
As for Scotland, you will probably get a better rate renting a vehicle from Inverness rather than Skye & Maillog. Check with www.aoutoeurope.com. For a Scottish Travel Forum that is fairly decent try, http://www.scotland.com/forums/. Have you considered exploring Scotland via Train? If you've not been to Scotland, it is absolutely stunning in the highlands.
