I recently acquired a 50+ piece collection of old opal jewelry. These were made by an opal broker for his wife over a 50 year period, and include some old and rare opals. They range from the early 1910s to 1951. Some of these I have never heard of - obviously the mines were shut down decades ago. My question is, who would likely be interested in purchasing items such as these? I have contacted some of the auction houses, but they want a million dollar collection before they will talk to you. I hate to throw them away on eBay, but I have no idea how to contact people who might appreciate them. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks... Jim
