I have an opal ring, mounted on gold. The design is such that the gold collects dirt easily. I know I can't immerse the ring in commerical jewelry cleaner. I have been told that there is a household product that will clean the gold without harming the opal, but I can't recall what the product is. Can anyone else help me out? Thanks. Susan
