Does anyone know what, if any, fields are notorious
for cracky opal? Also, is there any way to tell
before cutting? I saw a post regarding that recently but
cant find it again.
Sometimes I see some black opal nobbbies (not rubs)
and with strong color lines and I get suspicious.
Arent they usually rubbed in the field?
