I am a uni student in Australia, and for a certain assignment, I need to know a lot about opals, which is a big ask for someone who hasnt had any experience in it at all!!!!

Basically, the assignment involves market entry into the Malaysian opal market (if there is one...not sure on that either...) So i need several bits of information:

1. Cost of unfinished opals (range)
2. Cost of finishing opals (range)
3. Process of finishing opals.
4. Any opal market in Malaysia?

I am desperate, and if anyone could reply with any information on these things, i would be extremely greatful! Anything is useful- a link to another webpage, or just telling me where I could find this information would help even!
