Many thanks for supplying some opal pricing guidelines!
While I know that the price of any single stone may vary,
and opinions may differ as to the intensity of color, your
guidelines definitely offer some ballpark guidelines.
This should make it much easier to know what to budget if
I want a stone with specific colors!
Like just about everyone, I'd LOVE a big black opal that
has an intense rainbow of colors, but my budget and your
guidelines tell me I should focus on opals with fewer colors
that are not quite as bright.
Again, thanks for helping me understand the difference between
what I might want and what I should be looking for!
